Shediac Squadron participates in the Moncton Boat Show - 2007

The Moncton Boat Show has come and gone. Participation by our squadron was a new venture for us, and I believe a very successful one.

The fellowship experienced by those who worked at the Show and those who organized it was terrific. Everyone concerned commented on how much they enjoyed the experience. They met and talked with fellow boaters, old friends and scores of interested people from all over the general area.

We did testing for the PCOC with 43 successful clients. Our booth managed to recruit the majority of candidates for our next BoatPro course.

My thanks goes out to the many volunteers who made the Show possible, to Mustang  for a PFD to use for our Boat Show draw, and to Sounds Fantastic  who generously provided a LCD screen for our video. Also to Gary Bell and Maurice Richard from Marimichi, who drove down to lend a hand.

Peter Kinney of Riverview was the winner of a Mustang PFD.

A very large thank you to the members of the Shediac Squadron who volunteered to help handle our booth & PCOC room.
